Band 7 CT Radiographer – NHS Trust

Location: South East London
Pay Rate: £27.40 per hour (Direct Engagement)
Contract Type: Direct Engagement only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: ASAP – Ongoing (TBC)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 CT Radiographer to join a leading NHS Trust in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer looking to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists, cardiologists, nurses and administrative staff to support the effective operation of CT services while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred imaging services within the CT department.
• Assess, manage and prioritise workload independently across CT environments, seeking guidance from senior staff when required.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support service delivery.
• Deputise for Site Modality Superintendent Radiographers and Clinical Specialists during periods of absence.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the training, supervision and coordination of Band 5 and Band 6 Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and students.
• Maintain professional competency in accordance with departmental standards.
• Take responsibility for continuing professional development through ongoing learning and training opportunities.

Requirements

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Previous UK radiography experience is essential.
• Significant CT experience at Band 7 level or equivalent.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
